Our intervention was dictated by the enhancement and preservation of the historic structure, with a view to restoring rather than replacing it, except in parts where the integrity of the structure was endangered.
As this is an 18th century house, our intervention was closely followed by the “Service des Monuments et Sites”. The main interventions concern the lower ground floor, which becomes a reception area, and the first floor, where the rooms will be more in line with 21st century use.
Our intervention was dictated by the enhancement and preservation of the historic structure, with a view to restoring rather than replacing it, except in parts where the integrity of the structure was endangered. The cut stone of the corners and window frames was restored and repaired before being repainted according to the best practices of the 18th century.
